3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BrettTaylor (49) - - JUN 8, 2013
Poured as part of a flight. Pours a hazy golden color with medium head and lacing. Banana/clove on the nose as expected from the style. Okay, but I would be hard-pressed to buy it again given many other choices.

This is a borderline horrible hefe. Pale pour, no head, no aroma, no flavor. A bit of citrus in the lingering aftertaste.

Excellent offering of hefeweizen from Harpoon. This has a lemony aftertaste with a good deal of hops and kick to make this a very drinkable session beer
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ryanscourt (303) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2013
Smell lacks normal sweet estery aromas. Taste follows suit with taste of more of an american wheat ale. Not characteristic of a true german hefe. Not bad, kind of a middle of the road wheat bear. Not much to offer though. Rather have a nice flavorful german hefeweizen.
