Thin tasting hefe, slightly citrusy on the finish. Watery and unimpresive. Very drinkable. Not offensive.

OK, not a lot special, kind a foamy but not overly unusual. A little bit dry normal esther tastes but lacking in typical wheat like they left it out.

Not good. Aroma was weak. Lacks flavor and body. This was watery and boring. Not my favorite.

Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy body with a small fizzy white head that faded pretty quickly to a wispy film. The nose is pretty weak for the style, rather muddled with a mix of yeast and wheat, but no clear notes. The flavor is much the same, it has about all the flavor of a filtered Wheat, yet dulled and made murky by the yeastiness. Instead of giving off those classic banana, clove, and bubble gum flavors that you want from the fermentation, all you have is the flavor of the actual yeast. Light bodied, a bit watery, light soft carbonation, a bit clingy on the finish. This one was a big fail, I think I’ll stick to the authentic German standards.

12 Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy golden little white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast some citrus hops. Taste is consistent with aroma, it does feels a bit watered down; citrus fruit and wheat. mild bitterness towards the end. Seems like it would make for a nice summer beer.

Not a typical hefeweizen. Lighter in flavor. Slight hoppy aroma. Bitter finish. Not my favorite.

Bottle sample at Beer Study. Nose is light wheat, plastic, light yeast. Flavor is similar, much more watered down than I remember. Spritzer, mineral like finish.

Draft at Neon’s on August 3, 2012. Cloudy yellow/orange hue, small white head, sweet fruity aroma with some yeastiness, flavor much the same with a small bite in the finish.

Not very good. It lacked in most areas. Faint aroma that somwwhat represented a hefeweizen. The color was a golden yellow with a white head. The taste was bland with a slight wheat presence, but nothing unique. I don’t think the unfiltered characteristic did a thing for it. The fact that they recommend serving with a lemon says something about the lack of flavor. Not one I would choose again.

On tap at brewery in 2010; poured a hazy gold with a whitish head. Aroma of wheat and some citrus. Flavor was similar, but overall just ok for the style. The wheat ale entry is on point.
