Pours a golden haze, as I be expected for an unfiltered wheat beer. Tastes of mild spice and citrus with little aftertaste. Nice pallet. A good summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured hazy orange with a medium foamy white head that dissipated quickly. Smells like oranges and light yeast. Sweet and malty flavor. Short finish. Pretty bland.

Hazy gold brew with a sorta musty aroma. The old book stored in a damp basement smell kind of made me wonder if I really wanted to taste it. I did and suprisingly the taste wasn’t too bad. Had a citris taste with some wheat grain notes. Far from the best hefeweizen but drinkable.

Pours golden with average head. Weak aroma, maybe a little citrus and banana. Taste is wheat, a little fruit, a little bitter citrus. Not overly flavorful. Fine, readily available, drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy, yellow-gold with a tall, just-off-white head. Lemon/orange/wheat aroma. Taste is very watered down.... The normal cast of wheat ale characters.... just weakly played.

Shit tons of this over the years, and most recently a bottle at departmental picnic. About as good and as bland as most other American hefes out there, I suppose. Same cloudy gold pour you’d expect, appropriately carbonated and lively mouthfeel. Slight lemon verbena in there to complement the sharp yeast, a bit more bracing than some if I’m feeling charitable.

Solid beer, good flavor, easy to drink. Wish it was a bit thicker/had more mouth feel. Flavor, lemon and orange mix with a noticeable alcohol flavor. After half a bottle I’m also catching a twinge of pepper as well. This is a good beer, which is frustrating to me, as with some slight tweaks it could be great.

Iced down can while setting up the yard for a pork shoulder roast. In afternoon filled by a comedy of errors and the general felling like things were just not going my way, this my friend, was not one of the mistakes. While I agree this is a poor example of a hefe, the gentle wear sweetness whips through the small body, light lemon and spice. It well with my chicken tacos and my surly attitude. Things are beginning to look up.

Murky yellow pour with frothy white head. Aroma is acidic with malt, yeast, and hay permeating. Medium to long lasting sweet duration. Refreshing unfiltered offering.
