CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA Aug 15, 2006 Had on draft. Cloudy deep golden body. Citrusy aroma. Easy to drink on a hot day. Bland for a wheat beer, but enjoyed when it was 100 degrees out. No aftertaste
blipp (818), Grand Island, New York, USA Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma has lemon and wheat. Light malty flavor with some citrus. Not bad. oh6gdx (6339), Vaasa, Finland Sep 30, 2008 Bottled@SBWF2008. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, mild hops and some yeast. Flavour is wheat, hops and some mild saltwatery notes. Not very interesting. BelgianBeerGal (978), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 22, 2008 Draught in Boston. Rather average wheat ale with no real highs or lows. Flavour and aroma dominated by banana esters. No real character. Joakgust (90), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2008 Bottle SB&WF-08 - Unclear yellow colored beer with a small frothy head. Aroma is wheaty with strong notes of citrus, which also goes for the flavor. Rather thin but easy to drink. Don’t know if I like the whole concept of this type of beer. It needs more fruits or spices like the European Hefes or Wits. KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 20, 2008 Hazy golden with tiny white head. Sweet yea ty aroma with wheat and fruity notes. Sweet yeasty flavour with with notes of wheat and banana.
