Very run of the mill. Medium carbonation, extremely cloudy, a slight touch of zest but not enough. A Hefeweizen for the masses but unlike the Harpoon IPA also for the masses, this is less interesting. It plays it very safe, if you must, must with an orange slice.

does not count  Jul 8, 2008 Tap. Hazy yellow with a small, creamy head. Citrus taste that requires a lemon rubbed on the rim of the glass to get the full flavor/spice tones out of it. Overall, not a bad beer, but it doesn’t compare to the German Hefeweizens.

Jul 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a small white head. The aroma is wheat grass with some spices and citrus. The flavor is much of the same: wheat grass, citrus, and spices but all are subdued. A little thin. Forgetable at best.

Cloudy straw colour. Very liquoricey nose with some random spices. The palate is rich with anise notes, a slight hint of vanilla and a kiss of pale malt sweetness.

Jun 28, 2008 Bottle from six-style mixed pack. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a white head that quickly fades, but leaves some lacing along the glass. The aroma consists of lemon and wheat. Flavor is fairly light, some wheat, some citrus, but not much else.
