ARMed (419), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2007 Extremely light and fanstastic palate. Almost no lingering aftertaste and an exceptional light lemon and orange fruity flavor. The color is very clarevoyant yellow with a phlorescent tone. The only real problem I have with this very drinkable summer beer is the appearance (head and lacing). There is none.
Boutip (1753), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Aug 20, 2008 Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy golden color wheat beer with a medium size foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of light wheat malt with no discernable trace of banana or cloves. Taste is also dominated by some weak notes of wheat malt with no discernable ester of banana that I usually appreciated in this style. Quaffable on a hot summer day but not really interesting. chrissy (79), Connecticut, USA Aug 17, 2008 Bottle: My least favorite Hef. Not much of a citrus flavor or aroma. Wouldn’t really call it a hef. but a nice easy drinking beer. fluffy (56), Alabama, USA Aug 12, 2008 as hefes go, this one is pretty bland. cloudy yellow with a decent head. aroma is vaguely yeasty. bready taste with a little citrus and spice. just tastes watered down to me. only good thing is its pretty readily available. jhliesen (336), West Melbourne, Florida, USA Aug 7, 2008 Bottle--Hazy gold color with a medium fizzy head that dissipated quickly. Soft aroma with a small touch of lemon. Crisp taste with some citrus flavoring but doesn’t have that citrus smack on the lips. Yellow and Hazy in color with a small white head that didn’t last very long.
Nose is mostly bready with some citrus and a hint of spice.
Smooth and crisp but a bit watery for my tastes.
The beer overall is smooth with some spice but a tad oversweet. The after taste is grassy.
