Ick. Tried this at the tasting they had when they re-launched the beer. It should’ve stayed in the vault, this is crap. I got a soury hop sort of wheatish mash up of junk. I couldn’t get over how bad the aftertaste was as well. I’m assuming this wasn’t a bad batch because this came straight from the brewery at a promotional event, so I’m assuming they’re smart enough to make sure the "test beer" is fresh. I would recommend steering clear of this and going to the other UFO’s.

Bottle,
this ale had a hazy orange pour and gave more than a one finger of off-white head, effervescence was pretty faint in the glass but it is hard to tell with the sediment floating around, this beer left some nice rings, fingers and spots of lacing on the sides of the glass, no sediment in the bottle – it ended up in the glass,
the aromas were citrus and floral hops, toasted malt and some caramel, some orange and lemon fruit with a little citrus, a little bread on the nose with some malt sweetness,
the flavors were toasted malt, citrus hops and bread with a little hop bitterness that trails after the finish,
the mouth feel was less than medium with a little creaminess and soft carbonation,
a pale ale with a nice nose and flavor.

12 oz bottle pours a hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is mainly citrus.

Initially overwhelming soapy taste, which eventually faded a little. Boring finish, nothing lingering. Would not bother with again.

bought at D&Q mini mart .. . pours a caramel amber .. low foam .. . light sap, dry leafs, light caramel, and shaved dry pinecone .. . light mouth .. . pretty weak stuff .. . boring .. . . your have to? what the heck was he talking about??

Yuck. Aroma of hops. Pours pale yellow with minimal foam. The taste is bitter and rather sour, with a hop flavor and slightly moldy taste. Will not try again....

Draught. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of citrus and pine, with some sugary sweetness also. The flavor is fairly hoppy, with citrus hops upfront, and some sweeter caramel to balance things out. Pretty drinkable. A nice hop profile here. Good stuff. [886]

Beautiful hazed orange-copper with soft off-white head and decent lacing. Fairly hoppy floral aroma. Lightly floral hoppy taste. A great ale.

Hazy amber with a thin cream head. Grassy hops, spices, earth, and light dough. Easy on the palate, flavor is bitter hops, dough, spices, and a bitter finish.

Cloudy orange, as you might expect. Well, the cloudy part, I mean. Pretty standard, I suppose - maybe a little hoppy for an EPA, but that’s not a problem. Nothing particularly special, but I enjoyed it. Pretty tasty session brew.
