COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and you’ve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours a light copper with a thick, cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice with a little caramel malts and floral hops. The flavor of pumpkin pie is really apparent, and it’s a little too sweet. Sort of light texture. A decent beer, but not the best.

Draft. Pours a hazy orange and finished with a nice fluffy tan head, but it disappeared quickly. The aroma was top notch but it was a bit thin. Overall very drinkable.

Clear orange-amber with a moderate off-white head that laces a little. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon, pumpkin bread, a little must, and something that smells like ginger. The taste is sweet malt with a moderate pumpkin and spice flavor, and a very mild bitterness. Medium bodied. The elements are pretty good, it just doesn’t excel anywhere.

Bottle. Murky orange-amber with a medium fluffy tan head. Spices (mainly cinnamon and clove), pumpkin pie and soft grains in the nose. Taste is big clove, cinnamon notes, nutmeg, pumpkin pie, soft grains, sweet malt and light bitter hops. Body is medium with a soft, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more big spice notes, light grainy flavors, soft caramel, pumpkin pie and sweet malt.

Brownish amber, slightly hazy, decent head. Aroma is of dark spices with lots of pumpkin pie taste. The finish gives tons of dark fall spice flavor through the nose.

Pours golden amber into a shaker. Off-white head pancakes as it recedes leaving spotted spiders. Pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon aromas. Dry with sour pumpkin, nutmeg and allspice. Lasting earthy pumpkin finish.

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with and courtesy of Vinnie. Pours a nice healthy orange with a diminishing, yet initially fluffy, white, small bubbled head. Aroma of pure, fresh, organic pumpkin guts and just-baked pie crust. Tremendously pungent, earthy nose. Medium bodied, with a somewhat crisp, somewhat loose palate. Finishes wth a twinge of corriander, nutmeg, and all-spice before melting into a pumpkiny sweetness. Surprisngly good pumpkin ale from Harpoon.

No head on my pour. Nice spice aroma. Taste is a bit too understated. Drinkable though. Nice attempt, would buy a six pack again.
