Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and youíve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

Pours a bright cloudy golden with a medium to full head that quickly fades to thin. Aroma contains pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg, just as you would expect. The nose is stronger than most pumpkin ales. The taste is pretty much the same. Pumpkin dominates, lots of nutmeg, less cinnamon and spice. Long pumpkin aftertaste. The pumpkin flavor doesnít overpower you. However, it is enough that you donít want to drink a bunch of these. Medium bodied, slick in texture, average carbonation. Iíd say this is one of your better pumpkin beers. But like many of these, you wonít want more than a couple.

Just enough pumpkin, just enough subtle pie spice, still a classy wheat beer. Mmmmmm ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Orange pour with a head that rapidly dissapears entirely. Aroma is pumpkin pie spice that leans toward sweetness. The flavors start with a sweet candy pumpkin and then shows off the cloves and other spices.

12oz can. Yes, thatís right. Iím drinking a pumpkin beer from a can! Clear dark golden color. Allspice aromas. Not much flavor or taste. Light cinnamon, pumpkin spices, and nutmeg. Nothing special.

Draft. Pours hazy orange brown with almost no head. Tastes like root vegetables and herbs, not too much like pumpkin. Dry feel, light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like pumpkin and squash, slightly sweet.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and some faint caramel apple. It pours a hazy amber with a fizzy off-white head that quickly fades to a very fine ring. Thereís minimal lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-medium caramel apple. The finish has light-moderate cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Itís light-medium bodied with very mild carbonation. Overall, itís got the pumpkin pie spices, but at times it comes across like a spiced cider/beer combination. Iím guessing that wasnít the goal, but itís still a decent tasting beer.

Beer pours a cloudy copper color with a puffy white head that laces well. Aroma of vegetal herbs, hay, and pumpkin pie. Nice earthy pumpkin on the palate. A bit of pumpkin pie spice balanced by ale richness. No dogfish punkin or pumpking but a decent offering.
