Bottle split with Ken and Vi. Pours an orange body with some carbonation. Aroma is pumpkin spice. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of spice - but pretty plain.

Pours mid amber with pumpkin pie notes that then drive into a malt driven but pumpkin spice finish. you get a good balance of some hops and an all encompassing pumpkin feel from the pie, spice, and vegetable. Great balance and one of the better ones out there!

a little light in color, aroma, and taste, but one of the easier pumpkin ale’s to have more than a couple of. Like most Harpoon’s beers, a little middle of the road, not going to knock your socks off, enjoyable.

A very nice beer, not over powering as some of the style are prone to be. It has a nice clean aroma with some spice, wheat and bread from an amber pour with a quickly fading head. The flavor follows with a hint of pumpkin pie spices, more wheat and bread and a bit of pepper. Nice medium body with a clean crisp finish.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped BB12/15/11-08:01-175N. The pour is cloudy and rusty orange with a short-lived head and continuing carbonation. The aroma has a nice spicy and pumpkin note with a lught hopy backdrop. The body is rather thin. The taste has enough of a pumpkin taste to let you know it is there but I wouldn’t call it overwhelming. Kind of a crisp finish. Not bad if you are on a budget.

A new pumpkin brew from Harpoon - I have to try that, even if it’s still August. The first few sips were underwhelming, but after a while this one really starts to show some promise. Good light spice aromas. The flavor light with a light bittering spice finish (think dry cinnamon). It’s quite a drinkable pumpkin brew. Not as sweet as others I have tried. On the dry side.

Light malt and spice aroma. Hazy orange color with a small white head. Spicy flavor throughout getting lightly sweet in the finish.

Pours a hazy rust orange with a light head of white fluff. Nose is all cinnamon cookies. A light body of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove coats the tongue leaving a slightly bitter/sour residue of undissolved spice on the tongue. Interesting how most pumpkin beers focus more on the spices attributed to pumpkin pie than the flavor of pumpkin itself. It was good, it was fun, wasn’t that fun. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours bright orange, slightly hazy, with some reddish highlights and a medium light beige head. Aromas of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, apple and pumpkin, brown sugar, and dough. The flavor is nutmeg and cinnamon, a little brown sugar, and pumpkin. Mild grass bitterness is present. The aftertaste is apple and pumpkin pie. Medium carbonation and body. Not bad; this gets me psyched for autumn. [753]
