Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and youíve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

Pours a two finger cream head that fades quickly leaving some lace. Hazy amber/orange color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Spicy pumpkin nose, flavor is spice and tart pumpkin, dry finish. $1.99 for a 12oz bottle from Jakeís Market Springfield, Vt.

Pillowy off-white head, pours brown-orange. Nose is medium, apple pie and spice. NOt getting a lot of pumpkin, but I am getting nutmeg, cinnamon, apple & pear. Medium-bodied palate, again with orchard fruit & spices, fades a little on the back-palate. I donít get any pumpkin?? I like it, I just think it should have been billed as simply a "fall" beer and not a "pumpkin" one.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. Historically, Harpoon has had some issues with spiced beers, putting out bottles of farmerís-market-hand-soap-water, particularly the Winter Warmer. They had cleaned up this issue, but Iím afraid this bottle of Cinnamon-Nutmeg-Allspice juice harkens a return to the old days. What do I taste? Oh not much, just a mouthful of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice. Beer? Nah. A faint glow of pumpkin, yeast, and hop resin beneath reminds me that this is indeed a bottle of beer Iím drinking. Blech.

Bottle. Pours a bronze tan color with thick head. Smells of nutmeg, spice and pumpkin. Taste is the same. Not a fan of these beers usually, but this is pretty good

Not much purely white head. Hazy orange in color. Very perfumy on the nose, cinnamon, spice, and everything nice. Coriander, with some honey notes as well. Looking at it, this beer is very flat. Mouthfeel isnít too thin, finishes very much like a lager. One of the best pumkins out there.

Pours copper with a thin white head and some minimal chill haze. Smells of pumpkin pie spice, some honey undertones, pumpkin cookies. Tastes of pepper, tea, floral, fresh pumpkin, some tarte hints on the finish.

Pours mid amber with pumpkin pie notes that then drive into a malt driven but pumpkin spice finish. you get a good balance of some hops and an all encompassing pumpkin feel from the pie, spice, and vegetable. Great balance and one of the better ones out there!

a little light in color, aroma, and taste, but one of the easier pumpkin aleís to have more than a couple of. Like most Harpoonís beers, a little middle of the road, not going to knock your socks off, enjoyable.

A very nice beer, not over powering as some of the style are prone to be. It has a nice clean aroma with some spice, wheat and bread from an amber pour with a quickly fading head. The flavor follows with a hint of pumpkin pie spices, more wheat and bread and a bit of pepper. Nice medium body with a clean crisp finish.
