3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
the pumpkin pie flavor of his brew is simply spot on. terrific blend of pumpkin, nutmeg with a true cinnamon bark flavor that takes charge. the brew has a moderate body on the light side with a carbonation that is vibrant enough in so that it has an edge. this combines well with a nearly creamy and frothy head. not really at all beery except for the aroma which will tell you little about the taste. no alcohol apparent but you will get a nice pumpkin buzz (unless you rate off of 2 ounces). if you really like pumpkin then this is the beer for you.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear but faintly hazed amber with a thin white head. Lots of spices on the nose, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Medium bodied, wheat, pie spices, more subtle than the nose would suggest. Soft bitterness, sweetness, light malt and pie spices.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a hazy amber color with a large fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, banana. heavy pumpkin spices. The taste is pumpkin, spice, earthy notes, hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a bit of lingering spice. Pretty generic, but decent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is full of nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon sweetness. Poured a cloud brown orange but had no head. Flavor was sweet, but robust with nutmeg and cinnamon. In some ways closer to the smoothness of a pumpkin pie. Palate had a zesty froth to it.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy orange with a white head that quickly dissipates into some moderate lacing. The aroma screams fall full of spices but not overbearing. The taste unfortunately falls a little short for me. There’s very good spice on the tongue but it finishes with a weird sort of bitterness. The combo doesn’t quite work for me. If the body were a little thicker, it’s possible that the pleasant spice notes could carry through but that’s not case. Decent.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
pours a golden color which is not clear, and a foamy white head. the aroma is pumpkin, cinamin, cloves, yeast, , allspice, (pumpkin pie spices) and malt. the flavor is strong up front with pumpkin and fades very quickly to spices flavor.. then feeling very watery and leaving a not so great after taste. Im not a big fan of pumpkin ales and out of the ones i have tried.. this is towards the bottom of the list.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark Orange and hazy, much like the namesake on the bottle. The aroma gives off a rich scent of Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Apples, Yeasts, and Malts; While the flavor is that of Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Yeasts and Malts. Flavor starts out mild, but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Light bodied with the spices adding in a kick to the overall feel. A good Pumpkin Ale overall but could’ve had more vibrancy in the flavor.
