COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and youíve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

Comes out of the tap a hazy honey golden with a fairly thick pale golden fine-bubbled head. Aroma has malty and fruity notes plus hints of cinnamon and pumpkin. Malty flavor has hoppy and cinnamon notes, as well as a good amount of pumpkin taste. Unlike many other pumpkin ales I have tried, the pumpkin flavor does not dominate the others, which is a plus. Smooth texture has good body and a decent amount of fizz. Save it for fall - or enjoy it now.

Bottle. Hazy gold pour, thin whitish head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, lots of spice, but it remains rather fruity, maybe some notes of genuine pumpkin in there. Taste is grainy, really malty sweet with a light spice finish, the pumpkin pie flavor is well rendered. Palate is medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Pretty good.

$2.25 for a single of this. Enjoyed at fridge temp in a tulip. Hazey sort of dark orange but very light. no head at all. Lots of very big fresh pumpkin scent. itís very pleasant. Taste is the same. Tastes like fresh pumpkin. Nice and balanced, no big dominating spices, semi-sweet finish. 25% carbonation, light body. Very pumpkin-y finish.

Unfiltered orange, cider like appearance. Light head. Aroma: pumpkin and cinnamon. Taste is specimens followed by pumpkin. Not bad for a style I typically can't stand. ---Rated via iPhone

Draft. Orange pour with white head. Light pumpkin ad spice aroma. Flavor is lacking sweet or spicy tones, light pumpkin and malt tones.

On draft at the Coffee District, poured an orangish color, aromas of all spice, cinnamon, and some light pumpkin. Flavors follow suit, spice lingers on the palate, not the best of this style, but ok overall.

12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a darkish golden-amber body, fairly clouded, and with a small, white he--oh, itís gone already.

Smell: Pumpkin-scented nose with the spices coming through, notably the cinnamon ahead of the basic, bready German base malts.

Taste: Lightly sugary, bready Malts, scantly toasted. Cinnamon, nutmeg, but also something with a warm accent to it akin to clove or possibly ginger. Light bitterness aided by the spice and carbonation. Spicy, solidly carbonated finish with the spiciness lingering out into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: For me, nothing says mid-August in the sweltering heat of Georgia like an Autumntime pumpkin beer??

Bottle from Caponeís. Pours turbid orangy brown with 1-finger white head. Nose is pumpkin puree, spice. Tastes very pumpkin spicy, with fresh pumpkin puree flavor, cinnamon, graham crackers. Medium palate, and gets a tad sour as it warms. This one is very good.

Call me a sucker for taste... And this beer has a lot of it. Had it right after a Tremens delirium and its taste over powered deliriumís. The aroma its just inviting. Amazing social beer. Cheers!
