Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and youíve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

Poured from bottle a dark, cloudy amber colour. A nice aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. Neither over powering the other. Taste was much of the same, though the pumpkin could have been a bit more prominent among the spices and malt flavors. A good brew.

I would have rated this beer a 4 or more had the appearance been better. While the head and lacing were very good, the color was cloudy and brownish copper. I was hoping for a clear reddish hue. Other than that, the beer had a fantastic taste and a very smooth finish.

Poured from bottle. Nice aroma of pumpkin, brown sugar and spice. Solid amber with lacing head. Pumpkin and spice lead with malt, hops and spice. Feel is somewhat thin and watery. No match for the top pumpkin ales, but ok.

Rated from notes taken 21 Sep 2013 -- A decent offering. I will say Harpoon has not made a beer Iíve disliked.

Pours a darker cloudy orange color with white head. Pumpkin, some pumpkin pie spice, and some malt notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice pumpkin pie spice note.

Grapefruit, orange, and yeast scents, with the bitterness of the grapefruit dominating. Hazy appearance and decent head. Very light citrusy taste, with a bitter finish. Light mouth feel. Overall a decent summer beer.

12 ounce bottle, stamp on bottle says enjoy by 02/15/14. Guess I canít complain, a buddy gave me a bottle of this a couple weeks ago so it was free. And Iím in the mood for a pumpkin beer so might was well try it! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy orange/amber color with some sediment floaties noticeable. Thereís also an inch and a half off-white head with good retention, along with a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like pumpkin spices and pumpkin. The taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like pumpkin spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves), pumpkin, and some bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit creamy, smooth and easy to drink. I liked this brew, hopefully this upcoming fall Iíll try a fresher batch of this!

Dark oragne, amber almost in color. The pumpkin in prominent in the aroma with recognizable spices. The flavor is the same, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon but there is something else in there I canít figure out. Nice pumpkin beer. Certainly one the better ones in my opinion

Decent beer. Very hazy golden pour with light lacing. Strong coriander aroma. Spices kinda overpower the malt backbone, but do mostly to lack of malt backbone than high spice. Very drinkable, even now in spring.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a hazy orange colored body that leaves some ringy lacing. A decent one finger white head appears and lasts for about a good minute before slowly dieing into the body. No carbonation is seen rising. The smell had the pumpkin up front with a good combination of nutmeg, clove, and ginger gently backing it up. The taste was pretty much the same. The palate sat about a medium on the body and has no harshness on the tongue, very smooth. I would say this is a very drinkable beer. Overall, this is a pumpkin ale I could come back to if I could find again.
