Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid orangy brown with 1-finger white head. Nose is pumpkin puree, spice. Tastes very pumpkin spicy, with fresh pumpkin puree flavor, cinnamon, graham crackers. Medium palate, and gets a tad sour as it warms. This one is very good.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a hazy amber color with a large fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, banana. heavy pumpkin spices. The taste is pumpkin, spice, earthy notes, hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a bit of lingering spice. Pretty generic, but decent.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear but faintly hazed amber with a thin white head. Lots of spices on the nose, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Medium bodied, wheat, pie spices, more subtle than the nose would suggest. Soft bitterness, sweetness, light malt and pie spices.
