COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and you’ve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

THOUGHTS: Finally typing up all those pumpkin beer reviews from the fall. This one was not all that great. Not awful, but not great. It did have a decent balance between beer and pumpkin pie. The base beer wasn’t that great, though. All a little boring for the style. I would have liked some wheat since was under the UFO brand. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a murky, medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma contained light, light-colored bread; ginger and other pumpkin pie spices; fruity pumpkin and something a little musty. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly sour; while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly bitter and sour with a fairly short duration. There was sweet and fruity pumpkin, ginger and other pumpkin pie spices, vegetal and lightly sour pumpkin, slight caramel malt and lots of yeast, The light to medium body was sort of oily and then a little dry with tingly carbonation and a dry and slightly metallic finish.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- You can smell the pumpkin and the hops. Has a nice smell. Appearance- This beer is a murky orange colou with a small white head. Taste- Great pumpkin flavor, it resembles pumpkin pie. Palate- A medium bodied beer with mild carbonation. Overall- A real good pumpkin beer, if you haven’t had it, give it a try.

I rather enjoyed this one. I'd say it's one of the better pumpkin varieties out there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Sticky Lips on recommendation of bartender. Yes, this is pretty decent. Very rich in spices, but the best part is the thick rich palate, a bit oily. Plenty of body.

Pours a hazy rust orange with thick white head. Has a sweet malt and cinnamon aroma. A sweet taste of cinnamon, nutmeg, light pumpkin and finishes with malts. A watered down taste.

Draft at Kirby’s Pub in Ocean City, MD served in a pint glass, clear orangy-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of heavy pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, little clove) and some pumpkin in the roast malt sweetness. Taste brings out more pumpkin earthiness and light caramel. Light body, moderate carbonation, lively with minimal roast sweet finish. On the lighter side of pumpkin beers.

Pours from 12 oz bottle a murky orange-amber with a medium fluffy tan head. Aroma of pure, fresh, organic pumpkin guts and just-baked pie crust. Flavour is tremendously pungent, earthy nose. Medium bodied, with a somewhat crisp, somewhat loose palate. Finishes wth a twinge of corriander, nutmeg, and all-spice before melting into a pumpkiny sweetness. Smooth texture has good body and a decent amount of fizz. Save it for fall - or enjoy it now.
