Commercial Description:
UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen is our own interpretation of the European practice of adding fruit flavors to wheat beers. We have added natural raspberry flavor to our UFO Hefeweizen to give it a delicate fruit flavor and slight sweetness. The raspberry juice adds a rich color to the cloudy, unfiltered beer, yielding a soft reddish hue. The scent of the berries mixes with the lightly hopped beer aroma. The raspberries are balanced by UFO Hefeweizen’s clean, wheat beer taste, making this beer enjoyable and refreshing.

Calling this beer a hefeweisen is a bit insulting, but other than that, this beer is very good to me. Lots of great raspberry flavor in it. The wheat flavor is certainly noticeable too. It’s an easily drinkable beer with a good flavor. I’d love to experience a fusion between a REAL hefeweisen and some raspberry flavor to see what happens. Until then, this beer does a pretty good job.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished white head. Sweet and light wheaty aroma. Sweet and bitter/acidic cherry flavoured with a mild wheaty note. Smooth and easy. Light fruity and not artificial. Nice one.

I really liked this one! Smells like it says with the raspberries. Color is a lighter brown/rose color. Has a nice raspberry flavor to it which is really smooth. Aftertaste is also nice and smooth. This one almost reminds me of a Magic Hat #9. Good stuff.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear orange with a tiny, bubbly off-white head. Extremely intense but also artificial raspberry aroma. Light body, heavy carbonation, dry and artificial raspberry notes. Finishes dry. 281108
