2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Horrible tasting Hefeweizen. After the initial fruit smell, the show is over. Taste is somewhat bitter and horrible fruit infusion. Drain pour.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Transfer from BA review on 5-24-13-
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- Served a lightly hazed orange-amber colored brew with a reddish-pinkish hue and a fizzy one finger white head. The head quickly dissipates leaving only a trace level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma is of wheat mixed with some nice raspberry smells.
Taste – The taste begins with wheat mixed with raspberry flavors. A little bit of a yeasty flavor joins midway through the taste with the raspberry flavor getting slightly stronger and the wheat flavor slightly less so. In the end a rather refreshing and moderately crisp raspberry wheat flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is rather light in creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Very appropriate for the wheat and fruit flavors of the brew, making for a rather refreshing drinker.
Overall – A relatively easy to drinking hefe with a moderate, but not obnoxious raspberry flavor.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma of artificial fruit, raspberries, strawberries, wheat, sugar, hops, grass. Taste is sweet from the fruits. Not badly balanced by the wheat and malt. Still way too sweet, artificial.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draught at brewery tour, Harpoon, Boston. Too pronounced raspberry, feeling of beer almost lost. Nice colour, though, not too red.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy, avg lace, middle amber with an orange hue, due to the raspberry juice added.
Light body, medium flavor density, bright mouthfeel, short palate.
Slight bitterness, touch of fruity sweetness which predominates in the finish, refreshing acidity.
Well defined raspberry flavor which persists longer than all other impressions, yeasty soapiness.
Good way to start the session.
