Odyn (148), New York, USA Jul 1, 2008 Not a bad beer, but it is a little heavy on the raspberry. About what you’d expect on the color and aroma. Too fruity to drink more than one or two.
MiP (6018), Flensburg, Germany Sep 8, 2008 Bottle at GBBF08. Distinct raspberry aroma and flavour. Thin body. Clear amber colour. Hefeweizen? No way. Refreshing but thin. Butters (421), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 7, 2008 Actually reminds me of my first fruit homebrew! But that’s not really a complement. Pours a translucent hazy amber copper with no head, looks like apple cider. Aroma is quite pleasant, raspberries, wheat. Flavor is pugnetly raspberry, but nice. Fair for a change of pace, but not much else JamesD (159), Centreville, Virginia, USA Sep 3, 2008 I thought this was actually pretty good. Even better than the regular UFO. This beer has a delicious, juicy raspberry aroma and sharp, acidy raspberry flavor. It also gives a nice pucker when you swallow it. TOSG55 (40), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pinkish orange, with an off-white head with large bubbles. Aroma of yeast and raspberries. Raspberries also dominate the flavor, which is sweet with a sour bite, and also has notes of grape/white wine, and a slightly bready finish. Yeast flavors are subdued for a Hefeweizen. Very tasty and drinkable, though it does tread dangerously close to being a wine cooler. Underrated nevertheless. rdelljh (100), Alabama, USA Aug 31, 2008 Medium body, good carbonation. Better than malt. This actually tastes like a wheat beer with natural raspberry flavor
