COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen is our own interpretation of the European practice of adding fruit flavors to wheat beers. We have added natural raspberry flavor to our UFO Hefeweizen to give it a delicate fruit flavor and slight sweetness. The raspberry juice adds a rich color to the cloudy, unfiltered beer, yielding a soft reddish hue. The scent of the berries mixes with the lightly hopped beer aroma. The raspberries are balanced by UFO Hefeweizenís clean, wheat beer taste, making this beer enjoyable and refreshing.

Out of bottle....This beer is amazing! Color is just like a strawberry pink hue and all....Taste/aroma match up perfectly! Not a 5 because i havent rated not many beers but the raspberry/wheat taste is out of this world if u like fruit beers...Its almost to much of a raspberry/wheat combination thats prob Y it has a lower rating and its not a beer beer but, It was a good experience for me and the head of this beer is medium/heavy as well....Enjoy or not enjoy..that is the ???

Amberish in color. Raspberry with slight hops in the aroma. The flavor kind of falls off the raspberry tastes artificial and sugar-candy like. The beer is lost.

Simple and flavorful. Clean raspberry flavor but if you only want a hint of raspberry and a lot of hefeweizen you are looking in the wrong place. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a hazy orange/brown colored body with a small white head, body is too hazy for any carbonation to be seen. There was no lacing at all. The smell had tart raspberry with some slight wheat coming in every now and again. The taste isnít any different from the smell. The palate is about a medium with the carbonation felt, sessionable. Overall, well, I donít think Iíll have this again, just wasnít that impressed for me, still good for the style.

12oz bottle. Looks light. Aroma of fake raspberries, light malts, light wheat, and light tin. Flavor the same. Light. Not good.

bottle. Take the standard UFO Hefeweizen and add some fake raspberry flavor. Itís not the best combination.

Cloudy golden color, some foamy head. There is an off-putting raspberry aroma wafting up that leads to a rather cloying flavor. Not my cup of tea or beer for that matter.

Bottle. Cloudy, dark gold, amberish color. Surprisingly small head for a wheat type beer. Aroma and taste is artificial raspberry taste. Not really great.

Bottle in Charleston WV to finish out a 6 pack. Big aroma of straight raspberries and not much else but not chemically or fake. Flavor is mostly fruit again. Nice but the base beer is buried deep until it warms a bit.

Cloudy orange color, great start to the head but it fades to a single layer. Some lace. More sweet than tart raspberry nose--a little bit like Kool-Aid. Inviting not overdone on the sugars. One can almost taste the raspberry seeds. The fruit is very realistic, like someone squeezed fresh raspberry pulp into a very light wheat beer. Again, there is a slight tartness and a slight sweetness to this beer. Overall, Iíd call this one closer to dry than sweet. The body is solid. The aftertaste fades a little more quickly than I would like. A wonderful lighter alternative to a Framboise... perhaps a warm weather offering.
