COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light, crisp, refreshing UFO White follows in the tradition of spiced wheat beers that have been brewed in Belgium for well over 300 years. Brewed with orange peel and a unique blend of spices, UFO White is the perfect choice for a summer’s barbecue, a night out with friends or any time you¹re thirsting for something a little different. Like UFO Hefeweizen and UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen, we leave UFO White UnFiltered for a more natural taste and appearance.

Sweet wheat beer. Not much of a head or aroma for that matter. However splendid social beer. Nice on the palette. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light yellow with no head. Aroma is that of orange and spice and wheat. Has a slightly bitter orange and lemon taste with a very smooth and dry finish.

Right in the Harpoon wheelhouse, a decent, crowd-pleaser offering for the style. Refreshing if not a tad sweet. I think they almost expect it to be cut further with an orange or maybe even lemon wedge. Hazy, inviting. A good picnic or bbq beer.

THOUGHTS: Not the greatest wit beer, but a nice, refreshing, easy-to-drink beer that’s go way more flavor than a macro beer. TECHNICAL: Poured a murky, medium to dark, slightly orangey, yellow with a small, white head that fully diminished and left virtually no lacing. The aroma had mostly oranges and then light wheat, light yeast and orange juice. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, and light to moderately acidic; while the finish was light to moderately sweet and mod to heavily acidic with an average duration. There was wheat, oranges, orange juice, yeast and slight honey. The light body was a little syrupy and then a little dry with extremely fizzy carbonation and a light to moderate astringent finish.

Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 16, 2012
Bottle: Poured a light unfiltered yellow color ale with a large foamy head with average retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light cloves and coriander is refreshing. Taste is a mix between some coriander with light orange peel notes and some wheat malt. Body is somewhat fuller then average with good carbonation. A bit short of the spices but easily drinkable.

his was only an average APA. Nothing that stands out too much here, decent to drink but not something that I’d consider a go to. Not bad for the price, maybe average to slightly above average for it’s style

Location: 12 oz can from State Line, 8/13/12

Aroma: The nose has plenty of wheat, orange, lemon, with some spice and yeast
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear golden color with a nice, lasting white head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, lots of wheat, some fruit, spice, and finishes with a light hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light, it has a lively carbonation, a fairly crisp feel, and a lightly griany, slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: How in the heck have I never rated this one before? Another craft beer in a can, I’m still in favor of this movement! This one is what it is. It will never be something amazing, but for what it is trying to be, it hits the mark just fine.

Draft poured into a shaker. Was a hazy-gold/orangish color with a bright white head and some lacing. Smelled of citrus fruit especially orange, bread, and peppery and spiced. Definitely tasted orange sweetness; citrusy and spiced. Finished a little dry, but on the hot day that I had it, it was perfect! A definite repeat order.

Bready with a citrus backbone and plenty of spice. The beer is bright golden to yellow with a fluffy white head. The beer tastes very citrusy with a nice bread dough in the back with notes of coriander. The beer is light and crisp and very refreshing.

Draft at Harpoon Tasting Room. Yeasty lactic, banana. Lightly off with no real bite. Unobtrusive but not interesting or tasty American white
