Delicate and clean, Harpoon’s UFO White is true to style while emphasizing the wheat malt and dialing down the coriander. Nose of crackers and light orange. Nice hazy light yellow. Prickly carbonation, but lacking a fluffy head, trading it for a small fizzy capper. Hops ate not apparent here, but the lightly fruity finish is both appropriate and appealing. Everything in perfect balance, the slightly heftier body is a welcome departure from the typically dry thin finish if most wit biers.

Can at World of Beer Tampa Palms. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a foamy white head. Fruity aroma with tons of citrus and coriander. Flavor is light and refreshing. I could see this pairing well with an outdoor barbecue on a warm day.

12oz bottle, best by: 8/15/12. Minimal, bubbly white head, comprised pretty much entirely of the abundant bubbles unsticking from the side of the glass and floating to the surface. Virtually no head once the bubbles are gone. Sort of hazy golden color in the body. Sharper carbonation, dry texture. Spicy sweet nose. Pleasant lemony citrus peel aroma. Some hay. Lightly zesty sweet taste. Decent witbier, not outstanding, though.
