No Head; for a white beer that Should be an easy task! Bitter orange was overpowering and almost a fake flavoring. I could not pick up any of the phenolic notes from the Belgian yeast due to the overpowering bitter orange. I love Belgian whites, and I must say the 1st I have ever pored down the drain after half a glass. The bitter orange taste stayed in my mouth for an hour after. Does not compare to Blue moon or any other craft Belgian white I have brewed or tasted. Very disappointed.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Harvest Market, Bedford NH. Aroma is yeasty basement funk. Appearance is hazy yellow with negligible head and trace lacing, no sparkle. Taste is moderately sweet and fruity. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture with average carbonation. Finish is abrupt and a mild fruit/bitter balance. Overall, this is pretty average across the board--light and crisp maybe but not getting a lot of spice.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a hazy orange color with minimal white head and some lacing. The aroma is orange and grapefruit. The taste is the same with a hint of wheat. The citrus is almost too prominent. It’s more crisp and refreshing than a Blue Moon. It’s very carbonated. The level of citrus made it seem one-dimensional.

This is a lot like blue moon but i feel like this beer hits my taste more accurately. Smooth. Beautiful wheat color and the smoothness a what beer should be. It didn't even need an orange to be wonderful.

Bottle. Orange. lemon, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate head. Light sweet-tart lemon-orange, coriander and wheat malt flavor. More a basic wheat ale.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from that shithole Shaw’s, worse yet, from the discontinued shelf two weeks before its BB date. Pale cloudy orange with lasting head and lace. Strong coriander and old oranges aroma with wheaty tang. Very bready sweet orangy wheaty malts with spicy coriander and orange zest finish. Too heavy on the sweetness. Maybe the coriander receded with time? Too thick for the style and slightly cloying with hints of honey or caramel. Tastes much more like Blue Moon than it does Hoegaarden. Don’t think I’ll finish it since I got stuck with some Hoegaarden in the fridge even though I hate A-B.
