Hazy yellow/ orange color with off-white head. Citrus and spices in the aroma. Taste is a mellow citrus with a well managed compliment of spices…prominently clove? Nice BBQ beer, won’t blow your socks off though

24 ounce draft at Yankee Lobster poured into a plastic cup. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, spices. Tasting notes of citrus fruit and peel, Belgian yeast, spices, cloves. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, crisp mouthfeel. Nothing special but hit the spot with some fried seafood and nice weather.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy yellow/orange body that yields a small white one finger head that died within ten seconds. No lacing was seen whatsoever. Light carbonation was seen rising at a decent pace.
The smell had some orange and coriander with some tones of alcohol coming out.
The taste was centered around the orange and coriander.
The palate had a light to medium, with some harsh carbonation on the mouth and tongue.
Overall, this is a decent beer, nothing spectacular nothing bad. I’ll be able to finish the six pack but maybe would only seek this again on tap.

Great! Really liked it, had it up in boston where it is brewed. The banquet I was at only had beer that was way too hoppy and this was a godsend.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330 ml bottle in Pompano Beach, FL Pours a hazy gold with a short fizzy white head. Aroma is fantastic orange peels, Coriander and wheat. Taste is watery version with more tart wheat than fruit. Palate is dry with lots of tart in it. Strange but refreshing.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Wonderful citrus and spice aroma maybe a little mandarin orange in there. Appearance is right but not as cloudy as I expected from and unfiltered. Good spice and malt mix on the taste but disappointing in the fact it tastes a little on the watery side like bumping up the malt could have helped this. Still taste pretty decent and could be very sessionable on a hot summer day.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/15/2013. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, wheat, bread, herbal, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt, yeast, and spice notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, wheat, bread, herbal, light clove, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, herbal, wheat, bread, light clove, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of malt, spice, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbontion and body; with a slightly creamy, smooth, and bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected for 4.8%. Overall this is a nice and pleasant witbier. Good balance and robustness of malt, spice, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Whitish yellow color. Very cloudy. Good lasting head that leaves some blankets of lace on the glass.
Soft, subtle aroma of banana, clove and coriander. Attractive and inviting.
The flavor lands closer to the mild side of Wits. This would be an easy introduction into the wheat world. The flavor mimics the smell. Full bodied with elevated carbonation.
