crizay (1056), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Mar 23, 2008 Thanks to Hopscotch. Hazy amber pour, medium almond head. Aroma is nutmeg. Flavor is obviously nutmeg but not huge and a touch of cinnamon, maybe even some orange peel and ginger as well. Sweet and just a spiced up flavor with no malts backing it up. One year old it’s just past it’s prime.
maeib (3714), Wootton, Northampton, England May 4, 2008 Bottled. A clear amber coloured beer with a short-lived off-white head. Plenty of cinnamon all round in the predominantly malty beer. Quite a kick of spicy heat on the tongue. Has elements of sweetness, but not too much. I~ didn’t expect much, but enjoyed this. phishpond417 (166), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 28, 2008 A brew I would like to try again soon to get an updated review on :) Pours a clear amber colour with a small thin head. Creamy malted mouthfeel, a tiny hop bite at first, finishes soft with cloves, spice and ginger. decent beer all around. RichardGretton (2493), Leicestershire, England Apr 23, 2008 Bottle. Brown beer with a light head. The aroma is cinnamon spiced and the flavour is sweetish ginger beer with a cinnamon and nutmeg finish. Overall a pretty average beer. thewolf (2873), Kolding, Denmark Apr 22, 2008 Bottle @ Chris_o.
Pours amber with a small, off-white film head. Aroma is sweet fruity with lots and lots of cardemum. Pretty thin. Far too sweet for my liking and with far and away too much cardemum. Otherwise its an okay brew. bigrond (824), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2008 This was a sample at a recent beerfest. I liked it. Not as good as someother holiday brews but it was a nice surprise. I’ll try this again next to some of my other favorite holiday brews (OSA, Delirium,Sam Adams, Etc.)
