On tap at the brewpub (03/03/13). Clear red pour with rocky off white head. Aroma dominated by toffee, caramelized wort, light roasty notes, quite enticing. Taste is pretty caramel forward, roasty flavors, really good. Not as fruity/vanilla as other tmaves which in my taste is a plus. Very good palate, dry with good silky carbonation.

My Bottom Line:
Refined caramel, vanilla and dark fruit flavors whirl about in this silky Tmavy.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the ochre-hued blackness.
-This is a very aromatic example of the style.
-Roasted angles ably support the sweetness and fruitiness.
-This is yet another world-class brew from Malostransky Pivovar.

On tap at the brewpub.

Bottled. A brown beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel and butter, as well as lighter notes of malt and straw. The flavor is very sweet with notes of straw and butter, leading to a dry buttery finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, roasted malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110401]
