3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mnmike (609) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Poured on tap. Decent beer - but it’s got some tough competition in this area. Alcohol is well hidden. Blonde color. White moderate head. Yeasty aromas.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 steeleliver (84) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 8, 2012
Warm gold color. Strong yeast malt flavor with hints of citrus and sweetness. Tall frothy white heads. Almost as good as a a belgian but the yeast was a bit off.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ryanfolty (1457) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Jan 29, 2012 tap at valley tap house. Clear golden pour with minimal head. Aroma is belgian yeast, citrus, malt and spice. Taste is consistent but also had some alcohol and clove.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Nuffield (3348) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 14, 2011
Perfectly decent beer. Yellow, good effervescent aroma, noticeable hops. Very nice finish as it warmed, suggesting increasing spice and a Belgian sense of complexity. The body was thinner and the flavor more quickly disappearing than I had wished. (On tap at the Groveland Tap, St. Paul, MN)
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BVery (4265) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Tap. Mostly clear golden yellow pour with a small whit head. Clove, honey, Belgian yeast, and alcohol are the featured elements. Plays like a tripel. Nice brew.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 emeinz (220) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 30, 2011
On tap at Republic. Golden color with large white head. Nice grassy, floral aromas. This beer definitely has a strong yeast presence. Light bodied and very easy drinking.
A pretty decent golden stong. They’ve made a few adjustments and it seems to get better with each one. It will be interesting to see how the beer changes as the brewery matures
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Trev (1663) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 25, 2011
The beer I liked least from Harriet.
Pour was hazy orange/gold
Strong yeastiness in the aroma, some fruit tones. Honey and clove spice.
Flavour was aggressively sweet with honey and alc. I found the alc to be very prevelant and unbalancing for me. Hard edge to it. Mellowed a bit towards the end with the yeast and light spice.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 droyer (12) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2011
Had this on tap as a keg donated for a homebrew competition. Pours beautiful golden color. Lots of cloves taste.
