Just in time for the holiday season, we have released a special spiced Dark Abbey. Available only in growlers, this beer has been spiked with fresh ginger, allspice, clove, and cinnamon, and will be the perfect complement to your holiday meals.

Halloween night, 2012. At the brewery. Brown color. There is a lot lot of spice in here, particularly clove and cinnamon. Some malt and dried fruit. Lightly sweet. My only complaint is it seems a little thin on the palate.

Tap at Harriet. Clear gold amber pour with a small white head. Awesome taste of clove, cinnamon, and other spices. Very tasty - good stuff!

Here’s another one that only stands as a number in the inventory, for I can’t really make a fresh, new review out of something that is merely an infusion. But! What an infusion it is. Clove, cinnnamon, and ginger, mixed with Harriet’s Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel. It just works. Mixes perfectly. The base beer still remains strong, but the addition of the spices brings it all home. Mmmm, mmm.
