Tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow, tons of banana on this one. Pretty solid beer overall.

Tap @ Harriet. Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy, dull yeasty, bready, a bit fruity aroma. The flavor lets on to a more Belgian Witbier-like beer with notes of spicy yeast, orange citrus, and lemon. Ok but a bit soapy.

Love a good Hefeweizen. This one had that great banana, holiday spice and bread dough quality in a bright and cloudy package that just works for me. The nice malty finish adds depth.

Pours a hazy bright orange and gold with frothy whitead head that quickly dissipates. Aroam is a mix of banana, clove, pepper and baked sweet bread. Flavor is a mix of bnana almond, hawaiian bread. Body is balanced light yet creamy but with a lot of bright carbonation.

Pours like a lemonade and has some banana scents, has a semi sour banana/wheat taste.

Tap. Hazy, dark-straw yellow in color with a small white head. Has a color that reminds me of darker lemonade. Shit, dude. . . Lots of banana Runts (c) jump from the glass in the aroma. Growing up banana Runts (c) were my least favorite, but now I’d say they rank about lime and the red hearts. I liked how they smelled far better than how they tasted, though, so I find this aroma very pleasing. Taste is less banana forward, with plenty of wheat, and graham cracker toward the finish. Maybe a touch thin, but this is a hefeweizen so I’m cool with that. Pretty damn enjoyable. Looking forward to drinking more of this while cruising down the freeway in the hot, hot sun.

April 27, 2012 tap at Valley Tap. Pour was cloudy yellow with some head and lacing. Aroma of banana and clove was very strong. Got the banana and clove in taste as well, plus the sweet maltiness comes through with a touch of citrus and maybe some floral notes. Palate medium to thick for a wheat beer and a very soft carbonation.

Sampled from a fresh growler, from Brad I think. This hefeweizen has a big banana aroma, and the clove is there. Opaque orange appearance, but no visible sediment in my glass. Good, full palate. Sweet flavor with more banana. A solid weizen.

Growler-Trade w/ tytoanderso-Cloudy golden pour w/a slight white head. Aroma’s of banana & wheat. Sweet wheat flavor w/traces of light fruit, banana, some cane sugar, raisens, some figs, pretty good stuff. Smooth & easy to drink, enjoyable.
