OJB (22), Dunedin, New Zealand May 7, 2008 Had slightly cloudy amber orange colour, and moderate head. Light crisp citrus hoppy aroma. Taste had light malt, slightly spicy, and bitter hoppy finish. A light crisp clean style but with quite simple flavours.
TheGrandMaster (1495), Auckland, New Zealand Aug 30, 2008 Bottle, pours a clear and carbonated amber with a foamy white head that can’t quite hold on. Sweet malty aroma with touches of citrus. A yeasty flowery quality to the malty palate. The finish is short and only slightly dry. Overall, a bit thin and bland. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 23, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a bubbly, white and creamy head. Fairly clean and malty nose. Medium body, fairly solid and clean malt base with a whiff of flowers. Hoppy note in the finish that also shows some alcohol. A fairly decent Harringtons. 210208 Plimmer (243), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 3, 2008 Light and clear with short head. Sweet bitter taste with hops and bitterness ind the aftertaste. bozoNZ (370), Christchurch, New Zealand Mar 22, 2007 640ml bottle bb 28/09/07 Pours a relatively clear pale gold, thin head latterly clinging to rim of glass only. Dusty, earthy/herbal aroma reminisant of other Indian style beers I’ve tried. Reasonable hop dryness increases thru the palate. Not sure if it would calm a wild Vindaloo but I enjoyed it all the same.
