beer_ledgend (796), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Mar 3, 2008 Sweet malty aroma with hint of hop. Pale straw yellow colour with no head. Mild hop bitterness, suttle nalt flavours come through at the back.
Kiwi_Jonno (39), Christchurch, New Zealand Aug 13, 2008 500mL Bottle. Clear pale golden beer. Pours a big white head with big bubbles. Weakish grassy hop aroma. Not overly bitter and a bit short finishing to be a good Pilsner. A little thin too. Over all a fresh tasting beer thats definately drinkable. TheGrandMaster (1434), Auckland, New Zealand May 26, 2008 Bottle, pouring a clear gold with a whit frothy head. A very strong grassy hop aroma. A hoppy palate that gets incredibly dry an bitter in the swallow. Nettle does come to mind also, along with sweet malt. Tough to drink for me, but it does have some character. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 18, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pale golden with a tall, frothy and creamy white head leaving some laces. Lovely fresh and floral aroma. Medium in body with a solid, sweetish malt base. Dry and fairly bitter finish. Yet another lovely pilsener from Harringtons - a brewery where you get the notion, that they can really perform if they care to. 110208 Plimmer (236), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 11, 2008 Bottle 33 cl. Clear light yellow body with normal size head. Hops dominate the nose (a lot). Bitter hops in the taste and aftertaste.
