dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Aug 9, 2008 golden with a slight white head. aroma of wild cherries. luckily, there is only a hint of cherry in the flavor. light bodided, not as much of a gag-inducer as i feared. gws57 (1003), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 8, 2008 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Orland Park, Illinois. Cloudy dark orange pour, served with a cherry! Sweet, almondy and nutty nose, a bit malty flavor, wheaty and sweet chocolate throughout, the marischino, however, is a bit overpowering. Smooth and sweet finish. Pretty good! frankenkitty (1834), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2007 I had this beer a few months ago while Christmas shopping and just now found my review. Served as an unfiltered, golden/amber brew with a skinny white head, this looks like a nice Hefe. An over-cherried aroma is both sweet & tart, a real plus if you’re really into cherries. Thick & wheaty in the mouth, a little chalky. Flavor has some cereal notes working nicely in tandem with the cherries, which are not as overpowering here as in many typical brewpub fruit beers (including some of Harrison’s others). Mildly nutty on the back end with a hint of sour milk. Not bad.

RAYBOY01 (1654), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 30, 2005 Not that awful, but why do I keep coming back to this place? Typical brewpub: weak, timid, boring beers aimed directly at the mainstream beer- drinking crowd, that really just wants a Miller Light anyway! They make up for it by having a four page menu full of crap that Bennigan’s does better and cheaper. The real question I have to ask is, why do I keep thinking this is going to get better? Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 9, 2005 Updated: Jul 5, 2005This is the first time I’ve had a beer with a maraschino cherry (intentionally) placed at the bottom of the glass. I like that kind of cherry, which is why I rated trhe beer as high as I did. Had a strong cherry smell emanating from a golden, well carbonated brew with a nice white head. Not bad tastinng, actually, with a sweet fruity finish. I ate the cherry when done.

Harrisons Brewing Company, Orland Park, IL
