dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Aug 15, 2008 clear yellow, slight white head, some lacing, too watery looking. grassy, wheaty aroma, a stronger nose than i expected for a light beer. creamy, corny flavor. full mouth-feel, fizzy. kind of a ’salty’ finish. not as bad as i feared, but in the end, the ’saltiness’ was ultimately distracting. gws57 (1003), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 5, 2007 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Orland Park, Illinois. Clear light yellow pour with a grassy nose, dry, a bit hoppy, well balanced. Kind of bland for the style, though. Not much going on. DrnkMcDermott (1597), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 14, 2005 Draft Sampler. Well, yes, a light beer, and what else could I expect. Very little taste, but does show a certain ale fruitiness. I would be hard pressed to guess what style this was based on. Suspect some rice was involved in keeping it so light. Hops were weak to me. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Sep 26, 2005 Clear, transparent and watery yellow in color with rising bubbles and a white wrung for the head. Lemons, cornflakes and starch spray provide the cleansing aroma. Yeasty and effervescent upon all quaffs. Flavor circumvents bready crescent rolls traits with a touch of stinging lemons. Definitely one of the hoppier "lite" beers (cascade, primarily) and well balanced, for what it’s worth. frankenkitty (1834), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA May 21, 2005 Light golden bodied served with a white ring of a head. No aromas detected (which I suppose is better than detecting bad aromas). Very mild hop presence in flavor but weak overall with a slightly metallic finish.
