pours an appealing purplish-brown color, slim tan head. aroma is slightly sweet air. the flavor is also slightly sweet with a touch of creaminess. medium bodied with a dry finish. not a bad attempt by harrissons.

Jun 5, 2007 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Orland Park, Illinois. Pours a clear, deep copper tone, with a fluffy, off white head, faint citrus in the nose, very mild maltiness, would be a great session beer but lacks oomph. Finishes clean.

Sep 26, 2005 Transparent and magnifying amber with a tan wrung for the head. Caramel, honey roasted peanuts, hops and rye give it a snappy nose. Munich malts make their presence known, churning a whole wheat bread persona. Caramel, wheat, peat and rye provide the rest of the flavor fillers. Seemingly an Irish Red by all means except the ingredient list.

Sep 5, 2005 Also surprised at the improvement in this one from my last visit. Rich toffee maltiness nicely balanced by signifigant hop bitterness. Much better since my last review.

May 21, 2005 A clear, deep copper with an ecru head. Caramel malt aromas under piney hops. Rounded flavor, albeit a little weak. Fizzy mouthfeel with an astringent finish.
