dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Aug 9, 2008 hazy apricot body, slight white head. served with a slice of lemon??! i didn’t detect any aroma once i discarded the lemon. flavor of spices, and banana tones. the banana was not off-putting. the mouth feel was a bit effervescent, in a weird way. i don’t care for wheats, but this wasn’t too bad. gws57 (1003), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 5, 2007 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Orland Park, Illinois. Pours cloudy light orange color with a thick, white head that dissipated to a pervasive film, very faint citrus in the nose, light wheat, alcoholic finish. Meh. DrnkMcDermott (1597), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 14, 2005 Draft sampler. Well, yes it does have a cloudy wheat character and a sort of lacy foam. Can’t smell much beyond the lemon slice on the glass. Actually bears more of a resemblance to Belgian, with its cloudy pink-tinged yellow body. Just a touch of coriander, then a bit of sourness makes this a but more interesting than my rating might suggest. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Sep 26, 2005 Served with a lemon wedge (damn.) Dirty, murky and solid pale yellow-gold in color with a few bubble cloisters on the top, but fairly stagnant in appearance overall. Aroma is very subdued - banana, vanilla and lemons at best. Flavor is absolutely repulsive. Cat nip, pineapple, rutabaga and acorn squash. Hops are doing something unforgivable. I will forever remember this one. RAYBOY01 (1654), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 5, 2005 One of the blandest wheats I ever had...no aroma, little flavor (watered down) and thin palate. Skip this one.
