Bottled, from the Fuggin’ Fuggers overhyped cornershop. Sadly, my wife was staying near here rather than Utobeer so this was my pressie from the Smoke. And it has to be said that it was a decent malty brew with some estery nips and a slightly good-soapy feel. My wife has nicked the swing top from the bottle in anticipation of threading it into her trainers in eager anticipation of a Bros revival.

Mellow yellow gold color with a medium white head. Frutiy hop sweet smell that carries into the taste. Dry hop sweet finish. Ok, maybe not what I like in a Lager.

Bügelverschlussflasche: Deep golden, medium head with a good lace, distinctive toasted-malty nose with a good amount of hops; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; distinctive malty and slightly aromatic-hoppy finish. Chewy, well-crafted stuff for those, who can enjoy good Lagers..........

This was the last beer that I drank when I was in Europe. Drank it while it wasn’t quite cold, but it was still a rather good beer in my opinion. Pretty strong for a lager and not lacking on the flavour aspect either. It is what is to be expected from a store like Harrd’s.
