Malty taste, sweet and fills the mouth. Slightly chocolatey. Good balance between malt and hops. You guys below must have had a duff cask. Geth_in_beer (677), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 28, 2007 Pint on tap in the Brick & Tile. Retford. Amber in appearance. Vinegar, weird taste. Not sure if its supposed to be like but if it is its a load of balls. hughie (2254), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 19, 2007 Cask at Wellington Arms. Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Faint burnt toast malt aroma. First taste is decidedly metallic, as if it has been poured from a can. Not a lot else, to be frank. Some late bitterness.
