I have tasted this beer at the brewery, on draught! This is a fantasti!c family-run brewery, some 10 miles east of Bamberg. Good frothy head, dark gold colour, good bitterness, with a touch of sweetness. But bitter finish prevails, but maybe too much taste of alcohol.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet fruity and malty. The flavor is malty with notes of fruit, but also a light buttery note towards the finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Lightly fruity, malty nose. Quite full-bodied with sweetish malt. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. 150807

Hazy blond color. Strong malt/hay character, sweetish; strong bitterness. Leaning more on the booze side than a good beer; drinkable.
