(bottle) Clear, brown colour with a short off-white foamy head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel, a touch of liquorice and cacao. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Robust roast-malty taste with caramel, liquorice and subtle (dried) fruity elements; moderately sweet and roasty bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Okay, a Bock of decent quality (24.04.07).

On tap @ Ølbaren. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head and some lacings. Quite sweet and malty. Caramel aromas with hints of metals. Medium body. Dry finish. Would be a bit better with a bit more body.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished tan head. Aroma is fruity and cornish with a nice roasted malty note. Flavour is mild sweet malty with alight wineous touch and a light bitternes. Vague metallic note.

Draught at Ølbaren. Clear mahogany (red/brown) - white head. High malty, caramel, sweetness, berries, light smoked, ryebread, nice clean & perfect....

Bottle: Chestnut coloured, small, but lacing off-white head; distinctive sweet malt, some dark fruit and a whiff of roasted malt in the nose; mainly sweetish flavour, medium bodied; short sweetish-fruity finish. Not bad, but a bit monotonous, like an average diluted Doppelbock............
