Crystal-clear mountain spring water and a touch of roasted malt give this beer its pristine and unforgettable flavour. Craft-brewed from a traditional recipe, Felsentrunk is amber in colour, spiced with a hint of smoke, a tribute to the art of brewing in the Franconia region of Bavaria.

[Bottle from Bamberg.] Orange amber with good offwhite head. Notes of bread, malt, not that much smoke and some hops for the style. Nice and refreshing!.

Draught (EBF2008)<br /> Sweet malty body. Some cardboard and esters. Woody hoppiness in the finish. Nutty and drying. Not as good as their Felsenkeller, but still pretty OK.

Draught at EBF08. Clear amber colour. Clean flavour, a bit of malt and spice.

Draught at Ølbaren. Clear amber - white head. Nice smokey, ambe malts, white bread, light caramel, grainy, hay. Clean and nice !!!

Sampled @ Ølbaren. Amber with no head. Malty aroma, malty flavour. Not much smoke flavour. Boring.
