A gem among wheat beers. Pale, fruity and heartwarming. Traditionally top-fermented, it is conditioned in the bottle with finest yeast to make a delightfully drinkable, sparkling wheat beer.

Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, leicht würzig.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts yeasty-malty, fruity notes of apricot. More and more dry-yeasty, finish a bit boring-dry. Nothing special.

Draft at Hartmann. Hazed light amber body with a fluffy white head, highly effervescent. Browned bananas with strong phenols in the nose. Thin body for weizen with a rich dark cookie batter and dark wheat bread flavor, texture has a strong savoriness which defies its lean disposition. Creamy toasted bread / wheat. Enjoyable nose, I only wish the body had a bigger presence.

Fruchtiger, streng herbhefiger Geruch. Startet süßlich und liquide. Mitte fruchtig, leider unpassend streng und abrupt bitter werdend. Süßlich-hefig ablaufend.

Test vom 17.4.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,9,8,11,9 - 8,85

5 Rather boring aroma. Has a vague breadiness and a bit of banana.
4 Bright hazy yellow.
6 Dull in the mouth, a little lemon. Slightly drier as it warms.
3 Some slight sourness in the finish.
12 Is better as it warms, but is still only so-so.

22.02.2011. 0,5l Bottle. From Landbierdealer.de. Yellow colour with white head. Hazy unclear. Aroma is wheat malt. a little stinging carbonation. Moderate bitterness with notes of citrus. Maybe a little grassy. Medium body and a little to much carbonation in this one.

500 ml bottle. 5.0%. From bierzwerg.de.
Hazy dark orange colour with big white head. Yeast, banana, grain, cereal, toffee and bubblegum in aroma. Quite a perfect combination for nose. Flavour is a bit simpler. Sweet caramel, grain, some mild bitterness, banana and hints of yeast. After all this is very good and balanced Weißbier.
