(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 Nov 2008) Dark brown colour with ruby hints. Creamy, lasting, pale brown head. Malty, roasted, nose with notes of dark rye bread, dark fruit, prunes and raisins. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, prunes and a spicy bitterness (Christmas spices) in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice, roasted and spicy schwarzbier. In short: brown wort bread with Christmas spices and raisins.

Bottled at Bruxellensis 2008, Brussels, Belgium
Clear, deep brown body. Off-white head. Nice, moderately bitter, smoked aroma. Moderately bitter flavour. Very dry mouthfeel (not a hoppy drieness, just very dry).

Cask (Bayerishe Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear dark brown. Roasty and lightly chocolatey nose. Medium bodied with moderate fruitiness, lots of chocolate sauce and orange. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel and salty woody finish. A homogenous, well made roasty beer.
