COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
340 years of Härtsfelder Brewing Artistry. From the first documented mentioning of a brewhouse in Dunstelkingen in the year 1664 until today, much has changed in the world and at Härtsfeld. But one thing remains uncompromised with us: our love of traditional brewing craft and our efforts to brew a clean, unadulturated beer. For this reason, we brewed this "Besondere" (Special). With special care for a special reason. To your special health!

It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of butterscotch, malt and hints of flower. The flavor has a moderate sweetness and notes of light butterscotch, malt, and a touch of flower, the finish is slightly dry.

Had a slight golden colored appearance with a frothy white head. Not much aroma, possibly a little hoppy.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Pale blonde. Grassy, almost herbal aroma. Malty, grassy, slightly herbal flavor. Tasty helles.

Bottle: Flavor is light malty, no remarkable hop notes or bitterness, only a light dryness in the end. Quite flat.

Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, small to medium-sized fluffy white head; sweetish grainy-fruity nose with a musty and "woody" hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; light hoppy traces in the almost solid sweet-bitter finish. O.K., drinkable...

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a with a loose and diminishing frothy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty aroma with shy grainy and woody notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Pale malty and subtle grainy taste; quite dry, slightly grainy and strawy malty finish with a moderately bitter hoppy finish. Not that special. 09.VI.10

Bottle. Pale golden, lacing white layer, champagne bubbles. Fresh leafy nose. Chewy malt base, good grassy, aromatic hops, light honeyish, grassy finish. Solid body, mellow mouthfeel. Well crafted lager, hits all the spots.

The bottle looks simple and a bit boring, the beer in the glass light orange, huge head. Starts sourish, also malty and dry. Finish becomes a bit spicy, but also mushy. Still quite sourish. Nothing special.

Quack-Duck (8065) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2009
bottle, Getränke Göbel Giengen. Clear straw golden colour, large and creamy white head. Fruity-malty nose. Full-bodied with good malty flavours and a shy fruityness (citrus fruit) and nice herbal aromatic hops. Pleasant carbonation. A well-balanced beer with a tendency towards an Oktoberfest/Märzen.
