1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
0.33 can. Gold color; small, white head on top. Typical pale lager aroma: grass, cereals, hay, some faint malts. Taste is also rather hackneyed; bread, cereals, a touch of hops and malts. Light body, thin texture and soft carbonation. Finish is just as standard as the rest, nothing distinguishing, a tad of alcohol with faint malts. Overall the beer is as typical as you can imagine, slightly on the malty side but that’s about it.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
330ml bottle. Pours with a golden colour and medium white head. The aroma consists of malts and the taste is moderately sweet with a mildly bitter finish. The beer is light-bodied and has a thin/watery texture and soft carbonation. Good example of a bad supermarket lager.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle, deep clear gold colour, medium soapy white head. Aroma of grass and cereal with notes of nuts and hay. Taste is on the malty side, relatively robust body for the style, would rank as medium generally still, abrupt bittersweet finish. Rather archetypical Finnish supermarket lager except for a somewhat fuller body and didn’t notice any excessive starchiness which is also a plus.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Kullankeltainen. Nopeasti häviävä isokuplainen vaahto. Tuoksussa miedosti mallasta ja jotain, jonka arvelen olevan tärkkelystä. Suutuntuma kohtuullisen hiilihappoinen. Tunkkainen jälkimaku on onneksi lyhyt ja tuo hunajan etäisesti mieleen. Etenkin näin Münchenissä nautittuna tasoero on masentavan suuri paikallisiin oluisiin nähden. Kaksi viikkoa sitten testaamistani alkoholittomista ja vähäalkoholisistakin oli pääosa parempia. En suosittele kellekään edes hinta huomioiden.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
In 2013 this beer has an other label-design than shown on this site,
abv is now 4,5% on alu-cans, with that coat of arms on the black can.
Short-lived rather thin foam which leaves some few fragments on the glass.
Few bubbles. Low carbonation. Standard golden beer. Scents of bread.
Taste with wood, cardboard, paper, bread. Aftertaste with something that reminds of Finland’s rye-bread.
This is a standard lager that is better if served cold, from refrigerator, 5-9’c.
Too much paper and cardboard when warmer than 10’c.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear orange beer with a long-lasting white head. Unpleasantly starchy and slightly grainy malty aromas. Taste is pretty clean, grainy and a bit fruity. A moderate amount of bitterness and a watery thin body.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can. Aroma is mainly grain.
Taste has grass, grain, maize and a bit too much alcohol. No aftertaste beside the alcohol and a mild bitterness. Watery.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml can from Stockmann Herkku, Helsinki, Finland!
Pours golden yellow with creamy white head. Smell is malty-grainy, slight sweet hoppy. Starts malty-bitterish with lots of sweet grains. Slight hoppy-flowery in the background. Finish is musty-malty and artifical hoppy-sweet.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
33 cl bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet grain and paper. Watery, sweet and bland. Another poor bulk lager, preferred by True Finns or some who don’t taste things.
