liinis (506), Finland Apr 7, 2008 I remember this one as same bulk beer as every other pale lager in Finland, but with more character and body. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Feb 2, 2007 Bottle. Legenda Klass III. Deep golden colour with a nice medium bubbly mostly diminishing white head. Bit sweet malty and grassy aroma. Flavour of malts, bit of caramel and some hops. Slight bitter finish. An good but bit thin beer, then again: pale lager. raymondwave (808), Finland Nov 22, 2006 Updated: Feb 22, 2007The label says it’s made respecting the genuine Dortmunder beers, so maybe it should be a dortmunder? I don’t know, it tastes like quite a basic lager with (very) little more maltiness and hoppiness. What I’ve noticed about Hartwall’s beers now is that they use preservatives, like in this one too, so it’s not quite reinheitsgebot beer. Dorqui (1296), Brescia, Italy Feb 24, 2006 Updated: Sep 16, 2007Bottled 0,33L.
Intense yellow color, medium and extended fizz. Compact and of medium duration foam. Much ordinary and lean scent; light dry grass and malty notes. Lightly pungent taste with a determined and off-key bitter. Much watery and without particular scents. Medium short end.
Thanks to mabjork for this one. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 7, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a small, white head. Soft, malty nose. Medium body with sweetish malt and only a short, light bitter finish. According to the label this should be a Dortmunder style, but it definitely lacks body to fulfill that claim. 281205
