Commercial Description:
Another award winning ale which is a mild version of a Belgian classic. Brewed with equal amounts of northwestern malted wheat and malted barley, hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops and finished with a touch of coriander and orange peel. This is an ale for every season with a hint of fruit in the nose, subdued malty flavor and a slightly citric finish. A Belgian style brewed in Belt - Beltian White!

(Bottle) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, mustiness, lemon zest, and orange peel. Flavor of loads of coriander, lemon, and wheat with a somewhat gritty mouthfeel.

Draft in Billings, MT. Cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus banana aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet short finish. My expectations where met for a refreshing smooth beer.

Draft at Finn & Porter, Missoula. Very light like a macro ... sweet and almost imperceptibly yeasty. Drinks almost like Amstel Light really ... can’t disguise it with an orange slice, it doesn’t really have any wit or wheat character. (#2936, 5/20/2007)

On draught at the Flanagan’s Central Station in Whitefish, Montana. Pours a semi-clear golden pale blonde brew with a thin fast dissipating white head that leaves behind a white ring. Aroma of light wheat malt, bubblegum, and some citrusy hops. Taste is light bodied, fruity and lightly carbonated. Flavors picked up were light wheat bread, mellon, and some citrus zest. Finish is thin, slightly fruity, with a sweet mellon aftertaste.
