COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspector Poirot's favorite biere, made with 40% malted white wheat which lends a fluffy head and a pale complexion. Our Belgian Wheat beer is spiced with coriander and orange zest, then fermented with a unique Belgian yeast that's responsible for it's fruity characteristics. Try it with a wedge of lemon.

I preface all my witbier ratings this comment, so this beer shouldnít be any different: this is not my favorite style. In fact, itís one of my least favorite. But I had to try it. Iíve been surprised by wits in the past, and this was included in my draft sampler. This wit was actually pretty decent. It poured a cloudy straw color with yeast, fruit and wheat in the nose. The body was very smooth and drinkable, and featured plenty of yeasty and fruity notes. Iím not sure I would order a full pint of one of these, but I managed to finish the sample.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is clove, coriander and banana with wheat and straw malt. Flavor is malt and spices, light hops and bitterness with citrus notes and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Pours out a cloudy straw color with a small white head. Aroma is of light spices, grain, citrus zest. Taste is clean and refreshing, nice spice levels with a dose of citrus zest, orange peel, grains and a clean finish. Nicely done and its nice to see a brewery can make a wit that isnítí a donkey punch of coriander.

Draft at the brewpub after getting my watch sized. Poured a bright gold/porange body that was slightly cloudy with a foamy white head. Aroma was great, notes of bubble gum, fruit, lots of fruity esters, spice, corriander and orange slices. Lighter bodied with soft carbonation and an average duration on the finish. Flavor is similar to the aroma but slightly softer, notes of wet wheat, rotting banana, lots of fruity yeast esters, light spices. This was a very nice beer.

On tap at the Harvest Moon Brew Pub. Brought to me with a lemon wedge (I hate that). Poured a medium to dark and cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of lemon, light spices, and other citrus. Body on the thin side.
