Commercial Description:
One of our most popular offerings, light in color yet full of malt flavor a well balanced beer highlighted with Perle hops. Designed in the style of a Munich helles this should appeal to those who enjoy a light, refreshing beer. Made traditionally with Munich malt and German hops.

Pours golden in color, fizzy white head quickly subsided. A little too light in flavor for my liking, for a light beer crowd.

I was a little worried that this would be the typical "light lager" you can find at just about every brewpub ever created. In a sense it is but it at least tries to expand on that a little. Light golden color with a dense and bubbly white head. No real lacing. The aroma is lightly sweet malt and a pinch of Saaz. The body is light, even for a Helles, and the flavor is a mixture of toasted malt and caramel. The finish is a little sweet and not too interesting.

Maize-clear but impressively lasting head. No real nose. Skunky light malt/grain flavors with light hop tops. Struck me as a bit "off."

Sweet honey-like body with light hops. Nicely balanced. Good summery brew. Definitive Munich malt taste.

Weak nose and taste. A little lemony behind the light malt flavor. Harmless. This must be the stuff they brewed for the college students to drink by the pitcher.
