Mild, mild, mild with a slightly stronger hop finish, leaving a bitter aftertaste. scraff (1662), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Apr 14, 2007 Clear sparkling dark gold, thin white head. Nose held soft notes of toasted cereal and honey. Flavor was more of the same with additional underlying tones of nutty earth and florals. Light bodied, light carbonation, soft earthy sweet finish. Nice for sessions... jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Apr 2, 2007 on tap-pours a white head with yellow color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet/honey, secondary hops flatness(English hops). Taste is medium malt-sweet/honey, secondary hops flatness/bitterness(English hops). Mild carbonation. Although the brewpub called it an amber, it seems to fit the golden/blonde better.
