Jun 8, 2008 on tap-pours a retaining thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is medium malt-some sweetness, some continental hops. Taste is medium malt-some sweetness, faint continental hops which partially offsets the sweetness. But there is an off note throughout, which is a detractor. Don’t know which, diacytl, yeast, lines need cleaning?

May 28, 2008 Draft sample at brewpub. Pours clear amber gold, rimming white head. Nose is caramel, slight fruit. Taste is rather on the malty side, caramel and toffee some slight fruity undertones, not overpowering, just enough t accent it. Great crisp ending from the hops. Slight alcohol warmth in the after. Tasty, surprisingly clean. Pleasantly surprised wit this one.

Dec 6, 2005 6.25.05 Garden State Brewfest. This was the first beer we tried as a group and I was impressed. Harvest Moon hardly ever dissappoints and this was no exception. A tasty malty wheaty bock. I hope this comes around again this year.

Jun 25, 2005 Updated: Jun 26, 20052005 Garden State Fest. A great beer and helles bock. Very sweet in its layers but does have a hearty amount of hops. Everyone started off with this and it didn?t disappoint.

Jun 23, 2005 On tap at the Harvest Moon Brew Pub. Poured a clear amberish color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of bready malts, caramel, grassy hops, and light spices. Medium sweet.
