Commercial Description:
A slightly bold brew sure to please both "hop-heads" and casual palates! Brewed with 100% floor malted Maris Otter. Kettle hopped with a hand selected blend of American and German hops, and then dry-hopped with English First Gold hops, lending hints of apricot and citrus.

8.6% on this batch at the brewpub - Lightly hazed dark gold, creamy white head. Hoppy complex nose of pine, florals, and spruce, with softer notes of apricot and light sweet malt. Big sticky hop flavors throughout and completely unbalanced from start to finish. Works nicely for my hop fix just fine. Medium bodied, sharp carbonation, super dry bitter finish. Next time I leave with a growler. Well done...

Pint at the brewpub. Pours a msotly clear light gold with a afluffy sticky white head nad soem nice lacing. Aroma is cirtusy, herbal and lightly earhty with tons of hops. Light malt profice dominated by lots of hops- some citrusy grapefruit but most of it is earthy and tea-like but really strong overall with the hops. Clean dna sticky bitter finsih. Damn nice and one of the better DIPA’s I have had.

Hazy gold, with a thin head. Smells like pine needle soup. Medium body, with a sharp hop flavor that fades nicely into a malt finish.

Sampled from growler courtesy of TomDecapolis (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy orange color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of juicy oranges, caramel, other citrus fruits, and melons. Tastes of caramel, more oranges, and citrus. Lightly sugary. Decent balance but leaning on the sweeter side.

Sampler. Menus says 8.3% for this one now. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with an average lacing bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet citrus dry hops, some caramel, smelled like opening a packet of fresh hop pellets. Based on the commerical description of what they list as the dry hop...I would have never guessed it was an English hop. Smells more like an American hop (Simcoe or something). Flavor of grapefruit and various citrus, lots of hops with a decent caramel malt balance although big on the hop flavor and just about right on the bitterness.
