COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest choice, the German style Kolschbier is brewed with malted wheat creating a slightly fruity, mild beer with a dry finish, The gentle touch of noble hops lends balance and a delicate hop aroma.

such a full carmelized wheat farina flavor so golden and delicious! That is a full bodied and flavored Kolsch! mellow and smooth with easy sweetness and light enough while actually being deep. very nice.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden color with a large creamy head. Decent head retention. Very faint aroma of grainy malts. The taste is grainy malts and grassy hops. Creamy texture, medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

On tap at Moonlight. Pours an almost clear gold with a thin white head. A touch catty and dirty on the nose, soft grain, crackers. Crisp grain, light and crackery, biscuits and malt. Nice and grainy, a touch of musk. Very nice, easy drinking, quite crisp and refreshing.

poured at harvest moon. Pours a light pale color with a good head very fresh with aromas of grains, citrus, and cereal. Nice tones, but lacking depth light with a nice and crisp feel. Straightforward though on the flavors of grains and citrus. This is very enjoyable. Straightforward, it’s not a serious beer, but it is honest and easy drinking

I know, if it’s not brewed in Cologne, it’s not a true Kolsch. This is after American style Kolsch! It nails the subtle yet crisp nuances of a Gaffel. Very nice beer!

Yellow pour with white head and lace. Paper and light caramel malt. Sweet malt start with paper and a dry finish. Decent medium bodied beer with good carbonation. Refreshing and clean.

Halfpint at the brewpub. Pours crystal clear, super-pale golden and a thin clean white head. Aroma is a whiff of faint but perceptible pilsner malt that’s not dirty, but not clean. Flavors are mediocre and really light. There’s a bit of cracker, but a bit of wet, oxidized pils malt. Minimal to no hops. Water profile seems dull. Carbonation is a touch high. At this point, I’m underwhelmed with the menu of beers here. Nothing is standing out. There’s nothing egregiously wrong with what they’re pouring, but things are unexciting and just every so slightly off, like the ingredient quality isn’t the greatest, or some part of the brewing process (fermentation maybe) is a little sloppy.
